Another Shade of Blue

So finally, after living in this apartment for 2 years, the office has a gotten the attention it deserves. Since I picked the canary yellow in the living room, Renato picked the color for the office. But before we could apply color, we had to fill about 150 holes in the wall from the following:
1) an attempt to hang bookshelves (someone has a lot of books), but turns out the drywall is more like suckwall, 6 holes.
2) numerous wall hangings that have now moved to another location, 3 holes.
3) one word - dartboard, 1 hole for board, 140 holes from unskilled dartwork (oops).

Needless to say, there was some patching, sanding, repatching to do. Here's our handyman.

The name of the paint swatch: "Stunning." We think it is.

And secondly, we decided to paint the hallway a more toned down shade of blue. Strangely, I've never been someone who paid much attention to the color blue, my favorite color being on the opposite side of the color wheel, Orange. But with the advice of a close friend of mine, I've let blue be a more intimate part of my life. Thank you Jennah! Loving the color.

Before.

After. (and yes, there are 4 working locks on our door)
